Measurement Fixture “Air-fix”

Measurement Fixture

To accurately measure objects with 3-dimensional measuring devices, it is necessary to fix the object in place so it does not move. This product is a vacuum holding fixture that objects in any place, including stone surface plates and ceramic surface plates that can’t use magnets. Even while an object is being vacuum fixed, a simple press of the exhaust port can easily move and detach it. Compared to existing screw-type fixtures, it reduces the time needed for fixing objects in place.

Sound Source Visualization System “SoundViewer”

Sound Source Visualization System "SoundViewer"

By recording and filming the direction you would like to explore, with 32 microphone arrays arranged in a unique layout (patented by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.), and the camera in the center, you can analyze and display the frequency components and sound pressure levels each time with a PC application. In addition, by matching the analysis results on the filmed image, you can visualize where sound (strange sounds) are occurring. With microphone arrays that can expand and contract, you can perform a wide range of measurements from 250Hz to 12kHz.

The Chemiluminescence Analyzer, a faint luminescence detector and spectrometer

The Chemiluminescence Analyzer, a faint luminescence detector and spectrometer

This device detects faint luminescence when organic matter oxidizes and degrades (chemical luminescence). This device was originally used to assess the degradation of cooking oil, but over the past few years it has been used to assess the oxidation and degradation of macromolecules in items such as plastics, cosmetics, and drugs. This device can detect oxidation and degradation that cannot be distinguished using conventional methods, so this device has the potential to explain events with a cause that was heretofore unknown.

Moment Measuring Instrument

Moment Measuring Instrument

This product is a measuring instrument of the position of the center of gravity of turbine blades for hydraulic and thermal power generation. This equipment having two scales for weighing enables to obtain the exact position of the center of gravity using an original technique where a blade under test is fixed on a blade fixture and one end of the fixture is fixed to one scale and the other end is point-contacted to the other scale. The exact positioning of the center of gravity allows to achieve balancing of the turbine rotor and reduce bearing loads at high speed rotation, which leads to safe operation and further improvement of energy conversion efficiency.

Laser Doppler velocimeter

Laser Doppler velocimeter

This device irradiates a moving or rotating subject using a laser light to measure the speed. Since this does not place any load on the measured object and is not affected by color and surface conditions, this device has a variety of different applications in the manufacturing process of transparent and highly functional films, the development of printing equipment, and on hot metal rolling sites.

“WM7000 series” EMC (electromagnetic-compatible) noise scanner

“WM7000 series” EMC (electromagnetic-compatible) noise scanner

Their device visualizes electromagnetic noise from electronic devices such as printed circuit boards. It easily identifies the noise source in detail, by superimposing board images and noise maps. It can also visualize the electromagnetic wave penetration path from the outside, by using an electromagnetic wave irradiation probe. Three-dimensional and time-domain measurements can be performed as options.

“Spring motor” flat spiral spring mechanism

“Spring motor” flat spiral spring mechanism

This mechanical level meter uses a flat spring as the spring motor and does not require electricity. The unit measures fluid volume based on tape length by hanging the float down to the fluid level using the tape and then rewinds the tape with a specific amount of force to prevent the tape from loosening.
